I am trying to connect to an Enyaq IV 80x (with keyless), to make some adaptations using OBDeleven. I am using OBDeleven Pro, with an Android 12 phone.
So the device seems to connect to the vehicle just fine (the correct car model shows up in the app), but I am not able to make any changes. No matter if I try using the "one click" apps or do manual adaptations/long coding, I get the error message "Make sure the ignition is turned on".
The problem might be that there is no defined "ignition on" state on this car, seeing as the car is ready to go when you enter and press the start button. Has anyone had the same problem, and found a solution?

just press the brake pedal, this will turn your ignition on. For applying changes by app or long coding after ME3.0, release the front hood.

do you have like an idiot proof instructions how to do this? like being from outside of the car to make this work in the app? I am struggling with the same warnings as above. tried with frond hood popped, or fully open. with hand brake on off ignition on by sitting, by brake pressing, by start engine button.

Yesterday I connected my OBDEleven First Gen with my Samsung Android phone (Android 9) and with my Android tablet (Android 13).
After that I am unable to connect propely. I should not use the "Continue" button and select the car from the garage, as with this method the device is not going to work.
The car is VW E-Golf 2016.
It successfully connects with VW Golf 5 though. Tested it today.
Has anyone found a solution ?
Is the problem in my car ?
