Dear,
On the Skoda Octavia 3 Facelift I would like to do DSG Adaptation. The Ross-Tech Wiki for the DQ200:
states the Engine has to be OFF, then adaptation has to be startet until 4/0/0 is shown, then the engine has to be startet until the adaptation is finished.
How does OBDEleven show the adaptation is ready to start the engine?
By trial and error I found out, I have to wait a bit after starting the adaptation (no OBDEleven message about the 4/0/0) I simply can start the engine for the adaptation to finish. But if I wait too long, then OBDEleven throws an error.
How does OBDEleven show the status it is supposed to display?
I did the Adaptation not via OBDEleven App (10 credits) but via Transmission-Adaptation-Basic Settings

Regarding the DSG Adaptation on the VW Passat B8 with the DSG DQ200, I’ve had a similar experience. The OBDEleven app does not explicitly show the moment when you should start the engine. When using the Basic Settings adaptation, you can actually hear the gearbox working initially, and when it quiets down, I wait around 10 seconds before starting the engine. After that, the gearbox proceeds with the full calibration.
While it’s theoretically possible to start the process with the engine running from the beginning, according to Ross-Tech and VCDS, it is recommended to begin with the engine off and only start it after the initial configuration phase.
