Hi Guys! I am in desperate need of some help here.
I have a 2016 Golf R with Xenon headlights. I get a AFS error on dash and when I diagnose with Obdeleven I get the following fault codes:
55 Headlight Regulation
System description: AFS-ECU
Software number: 7P6907357D
Software version: 0090
Hardware number: 7P6907357A
Hardware version: H07
Serial number: --------------
ODX name: EV_HeadlRegulVWAFSMQB
ODX version: 001120
Faults:
C108D11 - Left swivel module position sensor signal wire Short circuit to ground
static
Date: 2021-09-06 14:26:13
Mileage: 38651 km
Priority: 2
Malfunction frequency counter: 1
Unlearning counter: 169
C108F11 - Left swivel module position sensor feed voltage Short circuit to ground

C108313 - Left stationary AFS Open circuit

Malfunction frequency counter: 1

I have replaced the globes, even though they were both fine left and right. I have also tried a re-learn with VCDS. Obviously looking closely at the fault description the problem is inside the left headlight itself, namely the Swivel Module. I believe this module is responsible for making the headlight globes turn via a small motor. Just wondering if anyone would know if this swivel module is replaceable being inside the headlight.
I am praying there's someone out there that has been able to fix this problem without a complete headlight replacement.
Any advice or things to try would be greatly appreciated.
Regards, Deanos
