Unfold mirrors only on ignition

Hi Guys .. I've been looking for this solution on and off for a few weeks now .. and I think I found it!! I've got a Passat GTE Dec2016 with all the kit.
So I have folding mirrors but they fold / unfold at lock / unlock .. this is a royal pain in the **se when I have to open the car to release my EV flap ..

The control for this has moved into the CENTRAL ELECTRICS module 09 ..

(or 20103) whichever is correct for you car ..

In Funk Spiegelanklappung Modus,

    set value "by look command via remote control key"

In Funk Spiegelanklappen,

    set value "Activated"

In Menusteuerung Funk Spiegelanklappen,

    set value "Activated"

If you want them to be opened when the IGN is started, instead of when opening the control / door

In Signalisierung_Spiegelanklappung,

    set value "Not Activated"  <<<<----- THIS WHAT I NEEDED (was set to Activated)

Now in the car, go to Car Settings -> Mirrors and Wipers.

Previously this menu had been curiously named as despite the name, it only had options for wipers with nothing at all to do with mirrors.
But now you'll have a new option of "Mirrors - Fold away after parking". The menu item should already be ticked from the VCDS changes.

Mirrors behave exactly as you'd expect - fold away when locking, and unfold when starting the ignition.

I have this setup. My car is polo 6c and works with mirrors opening on ignition. Maybe this helps...

Pues yo lo probé y solo me funciona en el momento de hacerlo,al pasar un rato lo vulelvo a probar y ya no me funciona,o sea que se me vuelven a plegar y desplegar cada vez que bloqueo y desbloqueo el coche.Un saludo,habrá que seguir investigando.
Mi coche es un Passat Variant 2.0 tdi 190Cv del año 2015

Did any one fix this "So while the CAN network is awake, you can unlock, relock as much as you like and the mirrors won't fold. As soon as the car has gone to "sleep" mode then any unlock will unfold the mirrors again"?

this only works with the first bcms. You have to downgrade your bcm to an older version.

When I try to set the Funk Spiegelanklappung Modus to  "by look command via remote control key" in Central Electrics I get the something went wrong message.
I guess I need to enter a security code first, but none of the following work:

Does anyone know the latest security code for the Central Electrics (9) ?

I have the same problem.

Sometimes the rear-view mirrors unfold after starting and sometimes after opening the door.

I read somewhere that the door module 42 and 52 should have the 0032 software, otherwise it will not work. I have 0028 and my tipping doesn't work properly.
