Hi there,

Has one of you already solved the problem with the soft clipping from a volume of about 60%? It seems to be a general VW MIB3 issue.

I installed an aftermarket sound system (Audison amps with Hertz speakers, wired via Quadlock - HIGH LEVEL).

As soon as you turn the volume up a little over half, the infotainment system clicks clearly and from then on it also sounds terrible.

To find out that it was really just the MIB3 infotainment system, I connected the Audison DSP amplifier directly to the smartphone via Bluetooth receiver (Toslink) and the clipping was gone.

Is there anything that can be changed about coding to solve this problem? I have OBD Eleven Pro with Android.
