Just got my MK8 GTD golf (loving it), except the constant EML. I get the standard textbook talk from VW “we cant fit you in untill the 27th of neverember”. So i resorted to buying an OBD11 to see whats what.

Fault codes have been popping up since 200miles into my experience with the golf and for some reason OBD11 says cleared but the engine line remains on the dash?

“Driver assistance - Development code 1” B2F0100
“Air conditioning - function limited due to energy management” B10CD00
“Telematics - databus missing message” U112100

I also had EGR fault but that cleared and didnt come back.

Can anyone shed any light as to why these random codes keep appearing and i cant clear the light

Have you had any driver assist errors like Lane departure warning currently not available / Front assist limited availability and Faut Traffic sign detection?
Can u post the software and hardware of the A5 control unit, thanks
The telematics fault is one of those errors that does not affect the functionality of the car according to VW ...
the Air conditioning fault - function limited due to energy management B10CD00) could be due to the battery not high enough maybe...

Anyway if your having problems report it at the VW workshop...

whataboutthis: le4dsoldier if you have a pre 2024 VAG motor that is supported and you have the Pro or Ultimate license you can code Adaptions and long Coding but after 2024 SFD2 STOPS YOU. SFD Can be unlocked but basic plan only allows you to use OCA Nov 21, 2024 16:52:53 GMT
