Scandinavian DRL - S3 2014

Hello.

Recenetly tried activating my rear lights to come on with light switch in auto, for DRL. I followed an article that came up in results, but now all exterior lights are on as if it's dark. I have front DRL running, along with low beam, rear light (which I wanted on) and number plate lights. Can someone help me out? I've tried resetting back to original setting but that's made no difference! 

Here's the article I followed:

Select Central electrics (module @ address hex09)

Select security access

Enter the magic number 31347

Select Adaptation

Search for Daytime running lights

Select Tagfahrlicht-Dauerfahrlicht aktiviert zusartzlich Standlicht

Change setting to active

Remember to tap the green tick to set.

Either I was to resort back to original settings, or if someone can help me fix turning off my low beam during the day in auto, and number plate light.
