Any idea how to deactivate the automatic lights to turn on by itself after 10 km/hr when the lights are already switched off  |

You can make drl on/off option in intertainment menu, by default lights turns on after 5kmph after being turned off: 09 - adaptation - Daytime running lights - Tagfahrlicht Aktivierung durch BAP oder Bedienfolge moeglich - Active or not.
Also you can change the speed (default 5kmph): 09 - adaptation - Daytime running lights - geschwindigkeitsabhaengiges tfl - speed.

Check Licht_bedienung:
Disabling
LTM_BGL_Wegabhängig
LTM_BGL_Geschwindigkeitsabhängig
LTM_Global_OFF_Wegabhängig
LTM_Global_OFF_Geschwindigkeitsabhängig
Should do the trick. You will still see the lights off warning in the cluster.
Please note that this modification is not allowed by ECE regulation and can cause problems in road safety inspections

That are the only APKs avaliable to modify for the automatic re-enablement or blocking switching off the light together with the LTM (LichtTasterModul).
If this does not work, it is likely blocked from modification. in the dataset

Hi Guys, I own and come from the Cupra Formentor, It works flawlessly! do the following and update!
First of all, open the driver's door, open the hood and then start the process!
Go to:
1. --> 09 - Central Electrics --> Adaptions
2. --> Go to "Licht_bedienung"
Now Disable:
3. --> "LTM_BGL_Wegabhängig"
4. --> "LTM_BGL_Geschwindigkeitsabhängig"
5. --> "LTM_Global_OFF_Wegabhängig"
6. --> "LTM_Global_OFF_Geschwindigkeitsabhängig"
7. --> LTM_Global_OFF_Geschwindigkeitsabhängig Parameter"
For Me, It works! Please update me if it works for you.

This worked on my Mk8 Golf but it only allows me to turn the lights off while stationary or driving up to 10kph (adjustable up to 15kph). Does anyone know how to remove this restriction so the lights can be turned off at any speed?

Hello northernangel , Have you tried to change the value of Licht_bedienung > LTM_Beleuchtung_Geschwindigkeits_Schwelle: 0 km/hI tried 0 based on your suggestion but any value lower than 10 registers as 10. Then above 10 the behavior turns erratic. Like between 10 and 15, it registers as whatever you enter minus 1. I tried values higher than 15 and some work, some register to the nearest multiple of 10, some revert to 10. The highest I could register with trial and error was 40 and even then during actual driving it only allows up to 35 which is still better than 15 and it's some progress but had no luck with values higher than 40, they all save as 10. So don't really know where to go from there. |
