I had an upgrade done on my 2014 Golf R from the MIB 1 to the MIB2.5 High.
I have been told there is a change you can do to the 5F module to change it to RHD so Car play menu strip shows on the right hand side instead of the left.
Anybody know which setting this is, I have looked though both adaptations and Long coding but don't see anything.

jasernz : There is a software switch in the hex5F module that tells the MIB which side of the car the "suspension arm" is fitted. To access this switch go to hex 5F module in OBD11- then go to Longcoding and select the Byte/Bit screen - then navigate to Byte 19 - you want Bit 1. If your car is LHD, this Bit should not be ticked. To change to RHD tick Bit 1 and exit out of OBD11.
It's not always necessary, but I like to reset the MIB when making these type of changes. To do this - with the MIB turned-ON, hold down the ON/OFF button until the MIB turns-OFF and then turns-ON again.
