I have a passat gte mib 2.5. There are no app for adding colors which feels strange. I search the forum and find a lot of people that enabled it but non care to explain or answer on how they did it. I do have 3 colors on my leds today. Is there a guide on ow to add more colors?

Hi, I did this in my B8 2017 and I also did have only 3 colours and now I do have 10. Search in youtube and there you will find videos as well, but it is pretty easy to setup. Ambient light 10 colours Central electrics 09

Active Ambient light color list
Set the value for R, G, B using www.rapidtables.com/web/color/RGB_Color.htmlReboot – holding on/off button for 30 seconds and lock the car for 30 minutes. f you do not see any change after rebooting and switching off the car for 30 minutes, than go to menu - car - setup - factory settings - ambient light and reset it to factory settings, than go to back to ambient light menu and you should see your new configuration. This I tested for several times and always worked. Some colours may appear little bit different in led strips than in dashboard. Ambient colours.docx (14.11 KB) |

I just have "Ambient light color list 2". I found and changed another meny that i forgot what it is called now, but it had something to do with the ambilight. |
