Hi, is any chance to activate front bar with drl lights? It work only with beam lights, during daylight it is not working.

Yep. Will look awful because of the different brightness levels or DRL and bar.
Still:
Have a look at Leuchte 31 and 32.
Add Tagfahrlicht to Lichtfunktion B.
Should be it.

Wonder would it be possible to add the option to the infotainment settings to turn the light bar on/off of wanted?

Nothing is known there. Common earlier practices for broken turn signal lightning (aka "US-Style") in MQB were to recycle footwell lights or daytime running lights.
There will be no dedicated point to show up, because all legistlations are treating them as contour lights which shall not be turned off and on on their own.
Using ambient lightning to control them is not possible in the MQBw.
And: Using DRL for this does not work when a 4B control unit is controlling the front lights, which is case when the front bar is installed (LED plus mandatory there).

Is there a way to fully disable the front bar ? To me it looks really awful as VW logo is not illuminated.

Please excuse me , but I don't want to open another thread just for one question. Is it possible to adjust the light sensor sensitivity in order to turn on headlight (low beam) at a certain lux or light intensity ? Today at 9:30am on a sunny day with clear sky my headlights turned on and off a couple of time on my trip in city. A little shadow from a building turned the lights on, then after a left turn with the sun behind me they turned off. Behind a truck they turned on again... it's quite like a Christmas tree  In dash I have an option for lightning assist (although I have no Light Assist) to turn "early, normal and late" but there's no difference in between early and late. |

frank62 : My fellow moderator is much more skilled (than am I) in dealing with the mk8, but if you post-up screenshots of one of the Leuchte-sets, I will take a look at what may be possible. To be clear, we are talking about the 5WA version of the Golf - so I will need to see ALL 23 x channels and their values for the leuchte-set - in your pictures

Actually, I had positive Feedback for that exact coding for a German Golf 8. I did not try it myself, as I also got the feedback that it looks badpy with the intensity not matching.
