Hi,
Can anyone can help me to code the temperature limit more down, so that E-Mode can be used even in -20 Celsius degrees on my 2015 Golf GTE. I heard it from "someone" that it is doable.
Greatly appreciated if you can help me!
Greetings from: Cold Finland

Here in Norway the official VAG workshop do this for free.
When I got my 16 GTE I got angry that no one told me about the cold-limit. I was told that there was nothing they could do about it, then it got a huge media coverage (because the car was very popular in 15-16-17 here) and lo and behold! VAG released an update allowing to run the car in E-mode under -10C!
Just take it to your official VAG workshop and tell them you want it done, it was done as a warranty/"reklamasjon" (extended warranty) here in Norway.
But, FYI, the range under -10C is ridiculus!... The car will go to hybrid very fast, especially if you are heavy on the accelerator! My experience is that just accelerating out from the driveway engages the ottoengine. But, at least you can drive in E-mode after when cruising.
