I can think of various reasons: * We never done that (Top reason!) * What if prices for features differ around Europe * How this will be supported in case something goes wrong? Dealers not involved in the purchase? * Not possible with some technical preconditions (before week 48/21 no FoD is possible) - there have been serious problems with ACC via FoD with some cars * As these features are to be licensed also between VW and their supplier, there might be some legal agreements to be made before. And maybe: VW wants it before Skoda (they already have it in the shop, as an extra to navigation) We are talking traffic sign recognition. As you drive past a traffic sign it displays the speed on the dashboard. If you already have Satnav, ACC and lane assist you have all the correct equipment. They've had TSR since at least 2015. I had it on my 2016 Superb mk3 and it worked fine. At the time it was an £80 option. I activated it for nothing using a VCDS. As you see from the canbus scan below the function is available but no go until we get a swap code which I am willing to pay for  |

Using OBDeleven I did a scan on which FeCs are enabled in the gateway with "Status of all Swap functions" then created a table and added the data for each ID number. I managed to get the Description text from Ross Tech Forum.
