Hi.
I have a reverse camera on my car which I can hear popping out the boot lid but it's not showing on the screen.
I have checked the long coding and rvclow is activated.
Any ideas what this could be.

What age golf? Mib1 or 2, own or retrofit,
Is it coming up on screen but blank or not coming up at all? We’re you coding when it stopped

It's an mib2 and it was a retrofit.
Nothing comes up at all.

Did the camera work on the car before?[(or the c acc era is retrofitted?) br]Does the screen come up but just blank?
Highline or lowline?
Do you have park assist module?

Yes it worked fine went into a shop that required some coding.
But I'm unsure what he's done.
It's was working prior and it's a lowline camera

What did it go in for?
Again do you have park assist?
and does the screen go blank as if it doesn’t see the picture or does it stay on park pilot/radio?

muhee : If I can add to vwjap questions - are you sure that this is a coding problem? Have you confirmed that automatic activation has been selected for the Parkpilot function in the car MENU? If not - try this: - Press the CAR infotainment button.
Touch the  function button to open the Vehicle settings menu. Select Parking/manoeuvring settings Select ParkPilot Select ParkPilot automatic activation.

From what I understand don
His car went in for repairs
They coded it as highline (canbus) so it would never work
He coded it as lowline, so now a conflict
He removed the canbus coding and it got rid of the conflict and has started working
