Is it possible to activate the Traffic Sign Recognition in the multimedia like you did with Kodiaq?

This one works for Seat cars MY2020 with the same A5 unit as Kamiq.
RECOGNITION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS
Before proceeding, it is highly recommended to make backups of the modules to be touched, which are: A5, 5F and 17
We access the A5 module and go to Coding , Bytes mode . (Front Sensor Driver Assist)
In Byte 16 we activate bit 4.
We accept the change and then access the 5F module , adaptation.
We enter the Adaptation option Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2 and activate the following parameters :
menu_display_road_sign_identification and menu_display_road_sign_identification_over_threshold_high
We accept the change and enter the option Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2 Adaptation , where we activate the following parameter:
traffic_sign_recognition_0x21
Now we look for the option traffic_sign_recognition_0x21_msg_bus and we give it the Databus Infotainment value (the text may vary depending on the language, but it is what it says is the Infotainment bus)
We accept the change and, finally, we access the module 17 (dash board)
Inside Coding, Bytes mode, in Byte 5 we activate bit 2.
As soon as we confirm the change, we will see that the compass in the FIS has moved to the lower left zone, leaving the upper central zone free in the FIS.
I recommend restarting the Infotainment (press +10 seconds the power button) so that the configuration option under Car-> Assistance to the driver is refreshed.

No, that's why I am sending this, for others to test if something is missing because it works for other cars. Up to this day i haven't managed to make it work, but that's odd, because it works in every other Skoda vehicle (Octavia, Karoq, Kodiaq, Superb) as well as other VW group cars with the same sensor (T-cross, seat models M2020). I have made it to this point (picture). In greek it says "traffic signs not available"  |

I just saw you activated the apps for TSR for both unit A5 2Q and 3Q.
What coding did you use? Where was the error to the one i sent?

Hej, I have tried the app twice and I only lost 200 credits.  After coding nothing happened (coding accepted or failed). Bonnet opened, hand brake pulled on, infotaiment unit reseted. |

I see two Traffic recognition apps. Can you explain in what case you choose one or the other? Is one of these versions working with virtual cockpit?

Have you managed to make it work in your car?
The v1 and v2 is not about the cockpit but about the version of the A5 unit. Newest cars have 2Q and older have 3Q.

I used the TSR V2 dedicated for my 3Q0980654A. Doing coding I haven't received any information about success or fail. No green or red coding circle but grey. In history I have information about change from off to on but when I open the app I have information that this function is off. I have VC.

Yes. I also found it odd that the app was created because the coding I sent wasn't fully functional. Something was still missing. As if the car didn't know from what database to get the signs.

If you check the title of my request, it still has the gear symbol as a work in progress. Perhaps enabling the one click apps on the App was by mistake?

Maybe, but it's not a problem for me. I shared with Obd11 my backup for investigation so I hope this will help Obd11 and other users to activate this feature.

Fusion uses algorithms that perhaps our car can't handle. Have you tried changing it to Sign recognition instead?

But you can select it in unit 17. And it shows the screen i posted earlier. Traffic signs not available. Right?

And everytime I received the error frame in VC - Road Sign Detection Failure.
Maybe I'm wrong but I suppose that the problem with the encoding of my Kamiq is due to the fact that my Bolero unit doesn't communicate fully with Virtual Cocpit - for example: not displaying album covers nor the logo of the radio stations on the VC. According to the Skoda authorize service, my Bolero has up-to-date software.
For this moment I give up.
