So I just got a new gateway module and it is slightly newer then the one that come with the car.

As far as I understand is that the 7n0 970 530 gateway module needs to be told about the other modules via an installation list.

I know this option is not available for my car but is it available for the sharan?

If so could you show me a screen shot of the option once you select the module and how the installation list looks like?

found it eventually .....

after looking multiple times at the video from obdeleven about the gateway where all of a sudden the installation list appears in the window of all the modules I finally noticed the pencil in the bottom right corner.

It was there all along.
