Hi,
i have an import model golf 8 R Line from Czechoslovakia ( CZ ). I am living in France and have not items in Shop like Alexa that normally offered in France.
does anyone know the option that must be activated to benefit from it ?

Do you not just change the country within your vw we connect account via web browser. If you have the vw we connect app you can access the shop,log in and at top there is a globe you select to change country. I’m not sure it’s a setting on the car you change.

I have the same problem.
We connect told me that it is impossible to change.

Hello! I live in Germany and I also own an import model from CZ, so I don´t have the alexa app in the shop.
After OBD11 got the option to unlock the SFD I changed one setting which I thought that could work:
multimedia 5F > Adaption > Country identification, country of sale HMI > "CZ" to "DE"
But it still doesn´t work. Next I will try a factory reset of the head unit. In worsed case VW has saved the country of sale on the server and it never will be possible to get alexa app to an import car.

But why VW can't change the delivery country ? It's no sense with an european car
Delivery country is a point but the most important is where you drive the car, no?
