Hi all,
A chat with a mechanic this morning revealed to me that, when new pads are fitted to the car (on the back) the handbrake motor has to be electronically re-wound before the calliper piston is wound back in again.
I had a look in the adaptations on my car this morning but can't see a button there for doing this. Although he said that a generic bluetooth OBD scanner wouldn't do this, when I told him what OBD11 does he agreed that it's a function it should offer.
Does anyone know if this is possible? I fitted a new calliper to mine last night, as the predecessor was seized, and I've still got some faults this morning. While I think the faults are caused by something else, I should really run this program on the car (if possible) to reverse it because if nothing else, the back-right brake is nowhere near relaxed enough for the car to be drivable.
Thanks!

@ith0ms0n: Maybe the video below is what you want (listen to the sound and you can hear the brake-motor opening the calipers to allow them to be changed) Don
