I would like something similar to this feature however it's not possible for the car to known the precise location of the keyfob, whether it's in the car or near the car. All the computer knows is if it can detect the keyfob. While it might be possible to use signal level a keyfob in a coat pocket could have the same signal strength as one outside the car Maybe it's possible for a walk away lock. When the signal to the keyfob is lost lock the doors. This thread is for the mk7 and seems to offer what we want. Hello,
we are looking for a solution to enable this feature. Golf mk8 is already used by another platform, so not everything is compatible with activating this function.
As soon as we find a way to activate it, we will let you know.
