Hi all,
here is a simple tweek to allow ALL the interior lights ( heater controls,window switches,infotainment surround,etc)to fade in/out when switched on/off.
from factory they operate by instantly switching on/off this will make them dim on /off.
once connected select the following
09 central electrics
Adaptations
Security code 31347
interior lighting
KL58 Einschalten mit rampe - default is non active,set this to active
confirm this via the green tick bottom right
then exit
A point I will make is that although this new coding was accepted I had to let all the control units power down completely before I noticed any change.
