So I just got my Pro and was super excited to change some stuff. Plugged it into the port, downloaded the app and it connected immediately. Installed the update like it said and everything seemed great. Clicked on “connect” and now it won’t do anything besides tell me “ERROR Validation failed”
I’ve deleted and downloaded the app twice, plugged/unplugged numerous times and even cycled Bluetooth on my phone. The device blinks red then blinks blue but that’s it.
Any suggestions? Thank you!

I just received mine today and I've got the same issue as well. Even after deleting and re-installing the app and resetting my bluetooth still run into this error.

Make sure you are logged in to your account in the app.

I had great expectations on the OBDeleven but the error appeared without even ever connect with the car. I'm waiting response from support but I'm not very optimistic after all the things I'm reading on several forums. If anyone knows the solution if would be great. Thanks in advance. Cheers!

Same today. Tried both Vag app and just OBDeleven app. Signed in. It offered updated and after the update finished I was unable to connect. It does see the BT device, shows its BT address but when trying to connect Vag app says “Validation failed” and OBDeleven app says “Device is not authorized”.
Just have texted to support through the app, let’s see

I am having the same issue. You guys managed to get it working? I am trying to connect to an iPhone 13 Mini. After the update, the message "Validation failed" is the only thing I see...

"Device is not authorised"

Same here, while i was changing rear brakepads and set them in servicemode. Could not release servicemode after the job. Got same validation error.
