Hi,
I know this topic was already mentioned in previous threads by other members, but I couldn't find a solution to my problem...
So,
I've already activated my fog lights as DRL's via app (DRL with Fog Lights). This option allows me to have fog lights as an aditional lights.
I'd like to have them set as my DRL's only, if that is even possible, or if not at least dimm low beams.

Milchika : I don't understand - I assume you are talking about the front fogs (not the rear). If currently your fogs work as DRLs (via the App) - don't you achieve your wants by simply not switching-on the fog lights via the center turret on the rotary light switch? what have i missed?

I'm sorry if I made my issue unclear.. so let me try to rephrase my problem..
When light switch is on 0, my front position lights and front fog lights are ON (standard drl procedure but with fogs as adition, wich I mentioned I activated via app earlier).
Now, I would like to turn off front position lights and leave only front fog lights ON when light switch is on 0.
Hope this makes more sense.. 🙂

Milchika: Thanks for the explanation - yes, now I understand. What type of lamps are the factory DRLs (front position lights) - LED, or incandescent?. What country? What build year is the mk7? Don

Don: Position lights are incandescent (light bulb). Country is Serbia, and production year is 2016.

- Go to the central electrics module
- Select Adaptation
- Navigate to Leuchte4TFL LB4
- Select Lichtfunktion A
- ONLY if the current value = Tagfahrlicht, change to nicht aktiv (don't proceed further if value is not as described)
- Select Dimmwert AB
- Change current value from 100 to 0
- Navigate to Leuchte5 TFL RB32
- Repeat steps 4 to 7 above
- When a security code is requested, enter 31347

A quick question before I try this... Is this a reversible procedure?
In case I screw up something (which I surely hope I'm not going to), will I be able to return to previous settings via same steps you mentioned?
P.S. I've searched modules you mentioned, in central electrics, and cheked lichtfunktion A4, value is as you wrote Tagfahrlicht.

Milchika: It's good to be hesitant when making these changes because errors can be made. Yes, my tweak is reversible if done as per my instructions. You can return the values back to factory settings and the DRLs should work again as normal Yes, you can "screw up" something" - but this ain't rocket science!!!
