Hi guys, I have a question regarding my Golf MK7 2016 (Italy).
I have attached also a picture, to help to understand. I have manual A/C controls.
When I turn the left knob on max A/C, automatically the A/C and recirculation turn on.
The same with the right knob: in the position on windscreen, the A/C turns on.

I'd like to avoid it, because I never need to use these "automatic" functions. I want to activate A/C and recirculation when I prefer, using the button.
Maybe someone can help with this request? I tried to search on the forum, but with no results.

I have the same issue in my MK7 as well.

Although I am aware the effect the function is doing (drying moist air, preventing windows fogging) is quite annoying to have it turn on every single time you only want cool outdoor air without ac.

Searched for few days this topic, no luck for now on how to deactivate.

Hopefully, OBD eleven could solve it with coding?
