Hi at all, I hope someone can help me.
I want to read eeprom of my VW Golf 6 instrument cluster with obdeleven. Background: I want to activate needle sweep.
Problem is, its always asking for a security access to do this "Anmeldung eingeben". But each time if I try to login with the shown login "25327", this code is shown as wrong.
Do someone knows more about this?
Many thanks :-)

But each time if I try to login with the shown login "25327", this code is shown as wrong. This code is UNIQUE to YOUR instrument cluster and ECU. The instrument cluster and ECU have the SAME PIN code (login) This would have to be obtained using a tool like AVDI. OBDeleven or VCDS can't give you that login. If you enter the PIN incorrectly, you have to leave the ignition ON for at least 10 minutes for everything to "reset" internally before you can try again. Since it is needle sweep you want to do, you can get someone who has AVDI or a Chinese copy of FVDI/SVDI to place your instrument cluster in service mode and show your 5-digit PIN while reading and dumping your EEPROM to your computer. You then enable the needle-sweep in the ROM and flash it back to your instrument cluster to enjoy the eye-candy. I hinted at the process in my YouTube video: I have a copy of VDOeditor that I can enable the feature for you if you can somehow extract and send me your EEPROM.

I cant activate needle sweep This sounds like something that needs to be done in EEPROM using a tool like VDOeditor or reading, editing and writing to the chip directly with a programmer.
