"Viktorija" the support chat, says I should "put the information on the forum, so that our engineers will check them".
So, here goes...
I've taken another look at this, and I hope that what I'm about to suggest will assist with moving this request on.
The Supported Vehicles section (https://obdeleven.com/en/supported-vehicles) says that the "Volkswagen Polo GTI 2017-" has a one-click app called "Video in Motion MIB3 ON". I don't expect the app to work with my car, but if the engineers will share with me the long-hand procedure (coding?) for that vehicle, I'll test it on mine and report back. This could allow a faster turnaround. My car currently has no one-click apps, so this might be of benefit.

Thank you for adding this app. I tried it today -- twice to make absolutely sure I hadn't done anything wrong... and got charged twice. Hmm...
Both times the one-click app reported "success", but the the use of phone apps is still blocked whilst the vehicle is in motion.
So unfortunately the one-click app doesn't seem to work.
Please advise what I should do now to assist you with this. I'm keen to get video in motion to work.

I see that since I last checked on the "Supported Vehicles/VW/Polo/2021-/GTI" (https://obdeleven.com/en/supported-vehicles) you have added a whole lot more one click apps which I look forward to trying.
Could you tell me please, since my last entry in November 2021, has the "Video In Motion MIB3 ON" app been updated? As I noted in November, it failed to work for me.

Hello,
does your multimedia show video while standing? If so, the Video in Motion application should work.
If it doesn't show up while standing, it won't work. This application does not activate video playback.
Specify which applications you want, Mirror Link or Video in Motion, because here are two different things.

Just to be completely clear, I am trying to activate Video in Motion.
As instructed by both the online support and the instructions with the app, I have followed all instructions to the letter four times now.
Video in Motion is not working. This app does not work -- at least for me. I have no evidence it works on my make and model of car. It should not be offered for sale.
Please advise.

Yes, it does. As I said, I am trying to activate Video in Motion.

It's now year since I first observed this problem, and close to a year that I raised it on this forum. Have you sourced a vehicle to test the programming on? It's beginning to feel like nothing will happen to resolve this. I also note that there are several new apps available. I'm wondering how these could have been properly tested without a suitable vehicle.
Is it at all likely you'll get this programming completed? The OBDeleven First Gen Diagnostic tool which I purchased on 6 October last year has been a desk ornament since then. It hasn't fulfilled the task I expressly requested at the time of purchase - make MirrorLink In Motion work.
I hope you'll give me an app soon...

We can test the applications we run on another car with the same code. However, MirrorLink In Motion is not a simple encoding that any car has. Your multimedia is different from other cars. Therefore, we need a car to read the current information, and only then can we create the requested application.
