Hi all , sorry if this has been covered before but I searched the forum but couldn’t find the answer. so I would like the rear position lamps ( outer and inner on hatch) to be on with DRL’s with the light switch in the ‘o’ position,I have done this on my other cars but it’s different on golf as you have two sets of lights each side. I would like to know which leuchte set to turn on to tagfahrlicht and which light function to use and dimming suggestions
I know I could just use Scandinavian DRL’s app but I don’t like all the interior switches lit up all the time. Vehicle in question is a 2016 golf GTI with OEM led rear lamps as standard fitment uk spec regards

I can give you my settings. I have coded my tail lights as drl, without the scandinavian light function. Mine are EU settings, so I don’t thunk there are any differences
Greetings,
Valk

Yes I do have LED tails. I will post them as soon as I find the time (somewhere tomorrow)
Also: I coded all the lights to function as brakelight (including hatch) That will be included in de log.

You’re welcome! It is not easy to figure out by yourself/on your own. That is why there’s a forum 😃
With my coding, the tail lights are always on. In the 0 position, Auto or manual. I increased the diimmwert, so that the tail lights are a bit brighter. It is completely up to you if you want to copy that also.
(English is not my first language, my apologies)

20 & 21 are the ‘c’ lights on the outer side. 23 & 24 are the 2 led dots that behave like switchbacks (brake/tail & turnsignal) 27 are both light in the hatch

Hey really sorry for not getting back to you after your help, but life stuff happens and I’ve not been on here for a while.
Yes it works perfectly,I used your screen shots for the lamps in question and comparing them to mine was able to work out and write down the differences ,once I had this information the rest was straight forward coding.
I have left my brightness OEM where yours was adjusted up to 21 from 10 which is factory.
