Hi there,
I am working on a particular item. I have noticed that when I play WAV (or any lossless) Audio over BlueTooth, it sounds as it should... full, dynamic. When I play that same content from USB, it is quieter, and audibly compressed. I am trying to figure out how to make the USB playback behave the same as Bluetooth in terms of the processing that is added to the path (ideally no processing at all). Has anyone had any luck with this?

I found settings that increase the USB media volume significantly and at least to my ear seem to disable the compression that was bothering me. In the Pro Settings: Multimedia -> Adaptation -> Audio Management Input Gan Generation 2: I changed ALL of the media levels from -128 to 17 (matching the Satellite radio setting). It is not a straight linear level. It seems that certain ranges all behave roughly the same. I found that I had to get between +7 and +17 to hear levels being restored to what I would expect. NOTE -- I didn't actually hear the changes until I exited this section of programming and THEN actually made a volume adjustment. A word of caution... turn your volume down BEFORE you do the programming so you don't blast yourself out when you make that first volume adjustment after programming.
