Hi carbonchaos, your coding is correct. Cd 27 = both rear light in the hatch.
To be sure your dimmwert is correct, you check them with the dimmwert in cd21, 22, 23 or 24.

That is correct, otherwise there will be a difference in brightness when you brake.
I don’t know what the default dimmwert is, that is why I advice you to check it with the other lights.
Greetings,
Valk

carbonchaos : To add to valk sage advice - maybe a couple of other things that you might consider: The Leuchte-set, Leuchte27NSL RC6 does indeed control the 2 x inner lamps on the hatch lid - but it this is only for mk7s that have been factory installed with LED tail light fittings. On cars with incandescent lamps in the tails, Leuchte27NSL RC6 is not active.
If Leuchte27NSL RC6 is active on the LED tails on your car, then it will most likely be factory programmed to operate as a Parking Light (not sure if you call this "position light") - depending on the country. If your current Dimmwert AB=127 (which is not uncommon as a factory setting), then adding Dimmwert CD=100 will mean that the illumination of these lights will be the same when the Parking lights and the brake lights operate. Which means that the driver in the rear won't be able to distinguish between the two functions.
Bottom line: If your car does have LED fittings, consider reducing Dimmwert AB to a lower number if you implement the tweak

DV52 yeah this car does indeed have factory fitted LED rear lights , currently the position lamps are inner and outer with stops on outer ‘C’ only plus high level. The position lamps are dimmer than stops currently as you would expect I will have to look at what exactly the dimmwert is for the outers and inners before any modification
Many thanks
Ps did you see my other post ref auto fold mirrors question, kept them separate for clarity.
