Hi all,
I bought a new 2021 VW Tiguan eHybrid. Lane assist gets always on after you start the car no matter if you have disabled it before.
That literally drove me crazy. I drive on a very narrow country lanes and having lane assist is a major pain in the proverbial.
Local VW garage said they can do nothing because this is factory setting. A-holes.
Long story short I bought obdeleven and here how to disable it:
Go to "Driver Assistance" -> "Long coding" find "Configuration_for_lane_departure_warning_Kl15" and change it to "Last_setting"
This way when you turn of "Lane Assist" in the car menu the lane assist will stay off after you turn the engine off and on again.
Hope that helps somebody.

So I have a 2023 model and the OBDeleven Pro.
I have done everything Val has said but at the end the App tells me it is "unable to write"
Am I doing something wrong or have VW protected this?

Guys, I have also Tiguan II (2021) with Lane assist, but I have no "Configuration_for_lane_departure_warning_Kl15" in Long Coding list of Driver Assistance. What could be an issue? Does anybody have other solution how to turn on memory function? I have PRO version of OBD11. Please, help |

Hi,
I have now tried it with door open, door closed, bonnet open and bonnet closed...... still wont write.
I don'r have Credits on my account, is this a paid function on the OBDeleven?
