So I did some adaptations trying to get some things to work on my car and I accidentally did something wrong and now every time i turn on my right indicator my left headlight indicator comes on and the same happens when i turn on my left indicator my right headlight indicator turns on. The wing mirror and taillight indicators are still working as they should. What do i do?

James you will have got a value with name Links (left) something on your right hand indicator and Rechts (right) on your left indicator.
Just reverse them and problems solved.

Do you know which leuchte number correlates with each headlight?

on my MQB car Front Side Indicator is LEUCHTE 0 BLK VL B36 Right front side indicator is LEUCHTE 1 BLK VRB20
But I have a Seat Leon not the Golf, hopefully they are the same, Golf Experts can confirm if you cant see it.
However if you go through your history you will see where you have changed from right to left as it shows you before and after settings.

@testeronline is correct for Golf mk7
So - Leuchte 0 BLK VL B36-Lichtfunktion A 0 = Blinken links Hellphase
- Leuchte1BLK VRB20-Lichtfunktion A 1 = Blinken rechts Hellphase
