I have Shooting Brake ehybrid.
I feel that initially Lane Assist is too lazy, in other words it allows car sailing from right to left side and back, like a drunken driver, when not myself steering. So I decided to change (module A5) ”Point of intervention” value to better, but for my suprise the value was already ”early” not ”late”, which I suspected. I did change this value to ”early” in my previous Tiguan and it worked well. Now I’m confused is there anyway to better this with Arteon ?

Try to change point of intervention to early via menu, this way will appear on lane assist menu the adaptive lane guidance which will help to hold your car in the middle of lanes.
Please give us more specific details of your A5 camera by uploading A5 info picture. This way we might find another solution which will be more suitable for you !

I have also tried this option. I coded fine on my 2020 model and did the same on my 2021 model. It coded fine and has shown up on the menu screen and I have adaptive Lane guidance ticked but it still does not keep me in the centre of the lane. Its like I never coded it. If I turn on travel assist when using cruise control it keeps me in the centre of the lane. I find that strange.
