I retrofitted mk7.5 style headlights to my mk7. I also retrofitted an auto light switch just a chinese cheap one. When i unlock my car, my low beams turn on but not my drl’s. Is there any way i can make the drl’s come on as leaving home lights.

Go to central electrics module - select adaptation - enter "enlicht" into search box - select Außenlicht_uebergreifend- select Coming Home Leuchten- change from Low-beam to DRL
You will then need to program the DRL Leuchte-sets for the DRL lamps - but this depends on what type of lamps are fitted to the car

Hi Don, When i enter the adaptations section of central electrics there is no option to pick Außenlicht_uebergreifend. Am i doing something wrong?

james: No, likely you are doing nothing wrong if you have an early model mk7 (before mid 2016 depending on country of sale).
Try entering "Comfort" into search-box on the adaptation screen - then select Comfort illumination- then continue with my instructions
Again, making the change above is just the first step; as I said, the Leuchte-sets still need to be changed

Don, I only have the option to change Coming Home Leuchten between Low beam or fog lights. My early 2013 mk7 does not have fog lights. The lights on the car are vland mk7.5 style headlights with dynamic indicators. They have d2s LED bulbs.

James OK - then post-up screenshots of Leuchte4TFL LB4 and Leuchte2SL VLB10. To be clear, I need to see ALL 19 x channels for each Leuchte-set
