Everything worked fine on the car. I changed the pads and rotors a few months ago and everything worked at the time. All of the sudden the Brake light is on and it says parking brake malfunction.

Im just going to mention something real quick about OBDeleven. When I first got it and connected it it always had this first popup saying something like Gateway incorrectly coded would you like to auto code it. I ALWAYS clicked no. But a while back I cant remember when, I actually clicked yes.... And im not sure if thats exactly when it happened but today I look at obd11 coding history. I will post the screenshots below. It says something about removing and adding the control brake module... That makes me wonder if obd11 messed up my ebrake. I will also post this on the obd11 forums.

Let me add I checked every fuse in the car 3 times. I manually opened and closed the ebrake motors with a battery.

Can I reverse coding from history?

Below im gunna post my error code log, this is the only errors obdeleven can find.
Please let me know any ideas!!

sabresuplay : Sorry to read about your dissatisfaction of the product - I guess OBD11 has disappointed you!!

Regarding the substantive matters in your post - yes, there does appear to be lots of changes to the Gateway installation list in your pictures. It's not clear if ALL of these changes were triggered by the AUTO-code facility - but I can't imagine this facility removing/adding ALL these modules. So, without intending any offense - there must have been some manual intervention in the records on your pictures!

However, in respect of the hex53 module (which appears to be your primary concern), the module is correctly included in the Gateway installation list because it is communicating correctly with the CAN network.

There's insufficient information in your post to conclude the cause of the errors.

And "no", I don't believe that it's reasonable to blame the AUTO-code function for these problems - albeit, of course anything is possible (I guess). The dates for the changes to the hex53 module simply do not align with the dates on the freeze-frame data on your scan . In fact, the earliest fault record on the hex53 module in your scan occurred at least 2 x months before the ON/OFF flip of the module on the Gateway installation list!! Plus, the removal of the hex53 module happened together with the removal of the hex07, hex0E and hex0F modules which were not re-installed when the hex53 module was re-installed. So, these other modules must have been incorrectly added to the Gateway installation list manually - maybe?

The error "J540 Implausible signal" can happen if the module has been asked to operate a function for which it has no capabilities - which can happen if there has been an inappropriate coding change (either to the module itself, or to another module that also participates in the function). Perhaps look through the other History records for such a change

The error "16348 - Control module Faulty" is interesting because it has a date stamp 2021-05-10 and a Frequency counter =1 - which means that the fault hasn't reappeared in any subsequent ignition cycle since mid May this year! Was this the date that you "manually opened and closed the ebrake motors with a battery"?

If this was my car, I would clear the errors and keep watch for their return.
