Hello,
I'm having very weird issue with my 09 module in my Golf VII, that I can't resolve. Every single scan I get an error - U101400 - Control module incorrectly coded - static.
My car is from NA but it was imported to EU. It has been retrofitted with a VW LED rear lamps and some aftermarket front ones. My suspicion is something is off with the coding of the rears, but given that my Golf is from 2017 I cant simply copy the long coding ( I read somewhere that from 2017 I'm only allowed to do adaptations ).
All of the lights seem to be working just fine, I noticed only one thing, that Rear fog lights are not turning on after the first pull on the light switch, they only start working together with the front ones (even the fog light indicator on the dash does not show up on first pull). I'm not entirely sure which options should I check/fix, given that most of the options are in German, well I'm not that fluent to fix a VW by heart .
I'd kindly appreciate any input or tips, to get rid of the error I'm having.
