Physical install: Here's the wiring diagram for the front fog lights:
The "BCM" (or "J519") is what OBD11 calls the "central electrics" module In addition, you will need to install a rotary light switch (LDS) with a front fog light position, If your car currently doesn't have a rear fog light - you need to check how many wires are in the loom on the LDS connector. If you don't have a wire terminated on pin#5 (see below) on the LDS connector, then you will need to install this wire - back to BCM pin 29, Socket A
I don't have the P/N for the cable between the BCM and the lamp fittings (Google it)
Software: Assuming that you have installed LED style fittings, you will need to energize the following Leuchte-sets in the BCM
Leuchte12NL LB45 Lasttyp 12 > 6 - LED Lichtmodul Lampendefektbitposition 12 > 38 Fehlerort mittleres Byte DTC-DFCC 12 > 22 Lichtfunktion A 12 > Nebellicht links Lichtfunktion B 12 > not active Dimmwert AB 12 > 127 Lichtansteuerung HD AB 12 > Always
Leuchte13NL RB5 Lasttyp 13 > 6 - LED Lichtmodul Lampendefektbitposition 13 > 42 Fehlerort mittleres Byte DTC-DFCC 13 > 23 Lichtfunktion A 13 > Nebellicht rechts Lichtfunktion B 13 > not active Dimmwert AB 13 > 127 Lichtansteuerung HD AB 13 > Always
Finally, you will need to tell the BCM that you have installed an LDS with a front fog-light position. How this is done depends on whether your BCM has a long-code string.
