Hello I was told I can prime the fuel system after changing the fuel filter on my 15 Jetta tdi, but I can't figure out how to do it. I found where I can reset the oil change counter but priming the fuel system. Any help would be appreciated thank you

Dont know how to do it via obdeleven. I do it this way on my touran 1t3 diesel. Open the fuel filter can, change filter inside , fill it up with diesel, close it, start car. Works for me.

I would also like to know this. I do not like the idea of filling the filter.... contaminates the fuel system and still let's air travel into the high pressure fuel pump which leaves it without lubrication, and even for a split second causes damage with such tight tolerances and will ultimately shorten it's lifespan.

If you just change the filter cartridge, clog the center hole with an finger and slowly fill the rest of the filter bowl. Then top off the center as well. Carefully install the top cover and start the car. It has worked with no problems several times on my 2015 TDI's. Good lock
