My 2020 GTE doesn't have the
option either.
From what I read the clock missing from the IC is a bug/feature (call it whatever you want) in 2020 cars only (the same thing issue exist in other VW cars also). Cars 2019 have have the clock, 2021 cars have it.
So it's more likely to be a firmware issue that was fixed in 2021 cars. My car is on 4193 FW and obdeleven points out that a newer exist (4194).
