Good evening gentlemen I have and use Obedeleven for a long time, today I have changed the coolant in my G13 car for the G12 EVO, my car is a 2017 Golf VII GTD DSG6. After adding the new refrigerant I have purged from: - Control unit 01 (Engine electronics) - Basic configuration - Check - Coolant circuit drain Engine running, temperature 90 degrees Celsius and heating on HI. After several attempts at the end I have achieved it by having depressed the brake and accelerator pedal and without releasing it during the whole process, at full speed, after five minutes of stepping on the brake and accelerator it has started; the process has been carried out by revving the engine at 2,500 rpm, then at 3,000 rpm, then at 1,000 rpm, and finally it has finished correctly. Below I have tried from Basic Configuration as well as the above to do: - Check - Bleed Low Temperature CircuitIt has been impossible, when accepting with the green tick at the bottom right, it returns an error (31 - It cannot be done, or something similar) My question is, how is this purging of the low temperature circuit done without giving me error 31 .. Thank you very much and greetings.

No idea if these work but I have seen many people say that doing a cache clear of the app or even a delete and reinstall can help with this error Also check out forum.obdeleven.com/post/37041

Thank you very much for your help
I have tried in all possible ways, uninstalling the application, clearing the cache, installing it again, activating the options as it says in the link that you have put me, sincerely I have tried it in about 35 different ways ..., and it always skips the error 31, when applying the green tick, to give you an idea I have been in the car from 3 pm, until a few moments ago, around 10 pm.
In my case the Obedeleven application DOES NOT WORK, to purge the Low Temperature Refrigeration Circuit. The reason… , because the truth is that I do not know, but at the moment apart from being very tired, I am totally disappointed with Obedeleven.
Tomorrow I will continue looking through the forums ..., perhaps I will find the solution, although in many forums I have found information that says the same, "gives error 31" when trying to make this adaptation from "BASIC SETTINGS" of control unit 01, " Low temperature cooling circuit bleed ”.
Thank you very much again.

Well very sorry this did not help you.
I used to have a similar problem with doing DSG Resets using basic settings and then after 2 years of complaining it started working.
I am afraid as its a weekend the support team dont work, so on Monday I am afraid you need to raise this bug and see if they can offer a solution. I would point them at this thread so you can show then all the things you have done to try and fix it.
The only other suggestion I can offer is have you tried changing your ODX File (you will see it on the 01 engine info screen, as this does make changes to some things.

Thanks a lot
I finally tried what you told me, but it didn't work either.
So I made the decision to buy VAG.COM-VCDS; yesterday morning I gave the car a drive to get it to the engine operating temperature (90ºC), connect the VAG.COM, and in just under half an hour, I had carried out the two cooling circuit purges, without any problem , the two finished perfectly.
With which I have already solved the problem I had with OBDeleven, the adaptation for the low temperature circuit purge, “DOES NOT WORK”, or at least it has not worked for me in my case, and that I have carried out many tests.
I'm sorry to say it, but OBDeleven, I was disappointed, it seems very lax to offer an "Adaptation, in basic adaptations" such as the "Purge of the Low Temperature Circuit", WHICH DOES NOT WORK, and I am prudent in saying that for at least in my case, IT HAS NOT WORKED.
I have read these days many forums, including the German ones, with the language problem, but nobody has managed to make that adaptation work (Low Temperature Circuit Purge), with OBDeleven.
The customer service of the Voltas website has not answered me after 12 days of having made the query.
I really appreciate your assistance and attention, trying to help me solve my problem.

Hello!
I have not succeeded even with the "Test - bleed cooling circuit". What was the exact procedure you got it started after stepping on the accelerator for five minutes? Did you continue to hold down the pedal or released it? And when did you choose the basic setting "Check - Coolant circuit drain" before or after five minutes? And did you choose Adaptation "Bleeding of coolant circuit" in addition? Thanks.

The procedure is , starting the bleed coolant circuit and press the accel + brake until the app says "action has ended" , something like that ... This takes time (maybe 5\7min from start to finish) and will change the revs by itself .
I also tried to purge the low coolant temp circuit aka charge-air cooler parcial circuit a million times by now but I wasn't able to start it ...AFAIK (someone said) the app shows every option available for the car model but some are region or engine specific and sometimes the translation isnt directly related for what it does and maybe this is the problem , the ECU isnt recognizing this particular action because it isn't supported , this doesn't mean the car\engine\ecu doesn't support it, means that is different from the supported action . The official purge has specific stages and times for each one and the option available on the app has a time interval max of 255secs (i believe) , this doesn't make any sense and is far less than the official time for this operation . The problem i see is the lack of support from obd11 team

danidasanic : I'm not sure about this specific procedure, but a few observations regarding your post. The OBD11 App isn't reporting anything more, or less than VCDS - both devices are simply pulling these procedures from programming inside the ECU My hunch (wild guess, really) is that the ECU may need specific starting conditions satisfied before it will run each of the sequential steps in the procedure. You have identified some of these starting conditions - but maybe there are others (I don't know) As for the max time interval, 255 secs - the number is significant because 255 is the decimal equivalent of hexadecimal FF (hex is the basic programming language used by the ECU). HexFF is the largest number that can be held in a 2 x Bit memory - so the waiting time simply maxs-out, I think

dv52 (Australia) (Australia) The official should be something like this What I was saying about the time interval is that the procedure shouldn't give you the option to change the time between 0 and 255 . The main water circuit (basic setting) doesn't give a time interval for you to set , only a start function" and gives you the info when it has ended , so why its different ? The low temp circuit bleeding process is even longer than the main circuit
