I see from time to time you add new apps. How do these get onto my OBDeleven Pro?

If there are any new apps for your car you'll see them in the apps section in the OBDeleven app.

So again, how do these get on to my OBDeleven Pro? When I plug it in to the car and connect it somehow downloads any new apps and/or updates?

I don't know how it works in detail but i guess it just asks the server if there are any new apps and then displays them in your app.
Why do you want to know that?

I see apps on the web site that are not on my phone when I select my car. I also saw on the site that "new apps were added" but didn't see any new apps on my phone when I connected to the car. I was just curious. I'm thinking now that when I do initiate the app on my phone that is when it connects to the server and does its magic. Thank you!

Not all apps listed on the website can be applied to every car. For some apps you need to have the right hardware/software. New apps for your car should have a "new" tag in the apps section of the app. (see picture below)  |
