Just used the App to enable chirp on locking the car.
When I then tried it, I got no sound when locking.
Car is a Seat Ateca Xcellence.
Any ideas please?

Two things that are normally an issue, Firstly if you are a late 2020 car then you need the bonnet open.
Secondly on my Leon I had to go to car settings and reset all settings to factory settings and then it worked.

I have the same problem with my Ateca FR.
It's a 2020 car, but not lifted.
No sound when I lock the car.

Did you code with bonnet open.
Do you have a factory fitted alarm as I seem to recall this is a pre condition of the app
Did you do the factory reset as described above on the Leon.

Afraid I dont know, I only know on my old car I had to do the factory reset for it to work.
I am guessing that if you lock your car with windows open and then try and ope the door from the inside handle you should get an alarm go off if you have factory fitted item.

I originally got this to work on a 2014 Leon, I seem to recall just holding in the infotainment button for 15/20 secs (reset) and it worked at the first attempt.
Now with my 2017 Ateca Xcellence I've tried on numerous occasions but stiil no joy.
metarich did you actually go "deep" into the infotainment unit and select reset to factory settings for it to work ?

Chirp - meaning the noise you hear from the car alarm, some alarms use a horn instead.
