Hello,

I have a Polo made in 2019.
I have an issue with the front assist. Sometimes, randomly, my car brakes because of this function. But, there is nothing in front of the car. Absolutly nothing.
My dealership tells me they can do nothing. Volkswagen knows that issue. But...

So, as it is more dangerous than usefull, for me at least, I would like to disable it.

But there are plenty parameters in ODB. I prefer to ask, before doing a big mistake.

Happened to me a couple times and I had some faults stored, I’m Not sure how to disable front assist but I did a hard reset under the submenus RESET then click hard reset you’ll find the option for reset in control unit 13 ..I’ve not had any issues or faults since doing so.

whataboutthis: fliew you need to share more info, car year have you coded in obd11 or vcds etc there is no magic button to revert to factory setting you have to undo all your changes manually in Adaptions and Long Coding you can copy/paste if you have backup Nov 21, 2024 16:54:18 GMT

whataboutthis: zuhair3434 just to confirm you are using the VAG app for your VW and the non VAG app for your BMW, in which case if you are using the non VAG app it should work and show you the OCA. Dec 1, 2024 15:27:09 GMT
