Hi guys
I recently had an issue with my HBA and OBD pointed to faulty control unit. I replaced the rearview mirror and cleared the error code and it does not register as a fault on OBD central electrics or HBA but I am still getting the error lighting fault on start up and the bulb is displayed and thereafter the triangle and exclamation stays on.Could it be that because I changed hardware I need to update software?I would not think so.
All bulbs are working as well, triple checked and even when activating HBA there's no error.
Any help appreciated.

kogs: not sure that I understand - have you scanned the car for errors (ALL modules)? If so, are there ANY errors on ANY module? Don

Apologies, I should have been specific. Initially I had the fault light error and when I scanned on OBDELEVEN there was a fault on central electrics and it send HBA control module error. So I got a replacement rearview mirror and HBA is working perfect now but the light error still displays on the dashboard but OBD does not pick up any errors after scanning now?
And I checked all bulbs, nothing is blown.
It's extremely strange.

When Something Is wrong with a module in the car, It Doesnt necessarily Mean that the module is bad, the wiring could be bad, the connector could be corroded, There can be many reasons to why this is happening, and to know for sure we will need a scan of your car.

hmm.............partial copy of your scan simply says that there is a general data databus issue. Not much that can be deduced from this information alone
