Hi all
I have a golf 2017 with light pack. until a few days ago when the windscreen wipers were put in the "auto" position, they were activated only in case of rain.
Now, however, if I put them on "auto", they start automatically even with dry windshields and work intermittently increasing speed.
Anyone know how to restore their basic function?

boss7 : Assuming that you haven't changed any coding - I suspect that maybe you might have disabled the rain-wipe function in the center MIB screen. If you don't select the rain-wipe function and you set the wiper stalk to automatic, the intermittent wiper function activates. So, do this (the procedure is described in the car manual):
- Press the CAR button on the escutcheon plate around the center screen
- Press the symbol on the bottom left side of the screen
- Select Mirror and wipers settings
- place a tick in Automatic wipe when raining box
- back-out of all screens

boss7: huh- "I suppose some coding has been skipped" - what coding changes were made? I thought this problem happened without coding changes? Don

I've used some apps and maybe this is the problem. But I don't know what is the problem.
In central unit 9 I've no problem,but the funcion of front wiper is lost.
Can you help me to find the problem please?

You have got the peg on the wiper stalk at the quickest interval as it only works on that

Try Front_wiper-Variable Regensensoraktivierung > not active

hmm....... OK - quickly running out of suggestions!! maybe check the value of the long-code string on the front-wiper module - which is a LIN slave of the central electrics module (OBD11 calls these LIN modules "subsystem"). Here's instructions regarding how to access the hex09 module subsystem modules - however, on the 2nd screenshot instead of selecting RLFS, select the WWS entry - post-up a screenshot of the long-code string on this module

This is basically the same thing (even if there is a functional difference between cars)
RLHS = rain/light/humidity sensor RLFS = same in German = Regen/Licht/Feuchtigkeit
