After activating my VIM on my 2016 facelift model C7.5 I now no longer have access to MMI connect, it disconnected me after activating VIM and now when I type my code in it and try to connect it straight away says it cant connect, saying possibly wrong code or a server issue, but it does not even try to connect as the refusal is instantaneous from the connection request. Can anyone help with this? |

How did you activate VIM? I can't activate mine. I have a 2016 A6. The app says " failed " ever ytime I've tried.

There were 2 or 3 apps on my list page offering it, two looked like the right ones, first one did not work, scrolled a lot further down and the other one did, but as I said, I am sure this is the reason I can't connect to my MMI anymore, if you manage to get vim working let me know if your MMI connect still works after.

I just bought a 2016 last weekend and just ran the app and everything is working fine from the looks of it, it worked perfect, I was able to log in to mmi just fine, but had to enter code twice, Weird thing is I accidentally ran the app with engine running because I did not scroll to the bottom where it says "This app does not work with engine running!" but seems to be working great.

Update from me, just back from being at work abroad for a few weeks and I can now log in no problem again, not sure what the issue was but its fine now.

activated vim on my a6 avant 2015 yesterday using app vim for mib, everything works fine so far. Other app vim for mmi did not work

Other app vim for mmi did not work I don't get it, I have 2015 A6 facelift with 4G MMI but I don't get the app for VIM for MMI in the list, if I search for vehicle and choose 2015 + it shows the app but the stupid garage only allows me to add my car by the VIN number and defaults to the pre facelift! I'm pulling my hair out |
