When I'm in control if lighting on the car dashboard in "AUTO" from my Passat 2018 b8, the high light isn't coming in with the track totally in the dark with Light Assist already activated. Corning Assist is working perfectly. How can I solve this?.

I've been able to get the headlights back to normal, but this error: "Fault code: U12EB00" with "Status: static" in Multifunction Module 4B, persists and I can't erase it. Does anyone know how to do this?.

The error U12EB00 has the accompanying message Data bus front light Additional installations detected. This generally means that the firmware in the hex4B module has for the first time detected a new piece of equipment.
Now, assuming that you haven't actually just installed anything new on the car that is related to the lighting system, the only other way that this error can arise is if you have turned-ON a software facility in the hex4B module that was previously disabled. Perhaps you have modified the long-code string, or you have changed the setting on an adaptation channel that relies on an "additional installation" to operate correctly - have you done this in either the hex4B module, or in any other module on the car?
If so, I suggest that you look at the records on the History part of OBD11 software and revert the changes back to factory settings

The whole problem started when I installed an application of OBDeleven itself through credits, when I did this already appeared the error in the car instrument, after that I was not knowing where the application changed parameters. After researching the resulting error, I went in 4B and within Basic Settings I accessed:1-Basic adjustments of the headlights and gave ok, 2-I confirmed basic adjustments of the headlights and gave ok. I've waited for the time you determine and get out of OBDeleven. After that returned to work the headlights as they were before, but the error warning in Faults in OBDeleven did not.

dv52 (Australia) Is right, after you modified it, somthing is wrong in 4B you should not have a extra installations. And probable after that, 09 Electrics: Been modifieded too, becouse this extra installations are your LED Hi Lights, but in a wrong coding, and will have to be modified.
Please tell me what kind of lights you have.
I will provide you with a copy of those lights configurations. I have for Bussines LED and for HighLine I.Q Lights
But if those are IQ lights after you configurate you will have to go LED Module Left and Right and do the final Adjustments in LWR adjustment.
Telling you because, I was doing the installation for the car you see in my Profile.

In the Control Unit, the Led Module D6 and D7 appear in yellow now, but are functioning normally when the steering wheel is turned.

I returned the Basic Settings within the 4B "Multifunction Module", where the headlights returned to work, but did not disappear from OBDeleven the error in question. But I did not return the Basic Settings within the 09 "Central Electrics". Is that why you keep showing error?.

Garko, the Basic Settings that I returned to factory, was only that of the headlights in module 4B ok, but did not do the same in Central Electric 09. Do I have back the headlights on 09 for Basic Setup here too?. Can't I have a problem with that?

Hi Garko, I just tried at Central Electric do in basic configuration, the return of factory settings to the headlights but did not accept, appeared a message that is unavailable because a paid program is activated. But as I told you before, the headlights are working normal with all its functions, only the error code information in 4B :- U12EB00 is that I can not erase.

ruinalin22 : I've no doubt that Garko fix worked for the U12EB00 error on his/her car.
Hoever, there can be many different causes for this error and the Basic Setting procedure fix does not work in ALL cases. IMHO, you need to address the cause of the error first - then do the Basic Setting procedure, if needed
As I said, I suspect that you have made a change to the module (I don't know what sort of change) - you need to revert the module software back to its factory state first.
It really doesn't matter to me and it's entirely up to you how you proceed, but I suggest again - Look in your History records!!

Hi Ruinalin22, What dv52 (Australia), say is right. If is posible to revert all changes, it will be the most easy way to go back to normal, after that. All you will need is go to your LED´s and do Basic Settings. Your LED´s in IQ Lights are not the corner lights, are the Beam lights locaded in the outside of each of your Headlamps. Check on the Attached picture below. Reverse from History information. If you do not know how to do it, send yourself a e-mail with your history. After you have it, Attach it here to we see what is happening, And why Your LED´s are with not power.

Garko during the process was done a battery reset where everything messed up, but then returned to the normal factory settings as you can see there. But the error in control unit 4B remained, and I can't erase it in OBDelevem even though everything is working normally in the car.

Garko my Passat is the High Line 2018/2019 B8, manufactured in 2018 and model 2019. Can I use OBDeleven Pro apps for the 2019 model or should I just use 2018 model apps?. I ask this because it has applications that is in 2019 that I would like to enable in my car, such as the vibration alert of the steering wheel in Line Assist, this is in the model 2019 and not in 2018, and as my car and 2018, model 2019, I was in doubt if I can enter the applications of the model 2019, today I use the paid applications of 2018.

Wow, looks like you was really in troubles during your coding.
But I see you are almost done, you did well.
This module is really complicated, every time you touch the long coding, it will happen again.
OK, here the tip, how to finally work out your last problem in 4B Multifunction Module.
1.- Connect your OBD and connect your BT.
2.- After that do the scan.
3.- After that system will detect the faults, ignore do not press to remove faults. Go next screen.
On Next screen you will find your 4B Module marked on red, obvious have a fault.
4.- In your list modules screen on the bottom in a green icon (Edit. If you press it, will open a new screen.
This is your Gateway installed Modules, find D6 and D7 LED modules and check on it, to active. It will activate it in your Gateway.
5.- After is done, return to back window pressing ok.
Normally system will ask Gateway must be updated, press yes.
This option is finally fixing your conflict between Gateway and 4B, with the extra installations detected. It will remove it, from check list again, and let the 4B Module control the D6 and D7 LED modules.
6.- Go back in Module 4B and Try to clear faults, because in your case the fault is extra installations detected. After that all should be ok.
If you have Matrix faults in Module 4B then you should do the next. ( Normally happens each time you touch the long coding and save.)
7.- After conflict with Gateway and Module 4B is ready, you still looking the fault in Module 4B, now go to Basic Settings, and press to restore each option, starting from up to down, starting the 4th option are your Matrx lights. The Matrix must check in Production mode to O.
8.- After this process is done, go back to faults and clear it, this time all should be fine.
If all is fine, do not forget to make a backup, it will help you on next time you get in troubles.
And a Tip: You can not modify your coding in your ECUs (Car Computer ) if you do not have the necessary modules installed in your car. For that. Always check your gateway, before start coding. If you have all modules for the coding, then you can prosed, and install the future.
Wish you luck, and let me know if all is ok?

Garko thanks for the return, no doubt I'll do these procedures you went through; as I have little knowledge in the area, there is a risk of getting worse something in the modules doing these procedures exactly as you passed or just can not clear the error in question?. Once done, if it's all worked out, I'll give you a return to the result.

Garko, I tried to do the configuration you went through and Could not, I scanned, I ignored the fault and I went into the 4B mudulo marked in red, then I searched at the bottom the green icon (Edit), but the same does not appear to enable a new screen and activate the Led D6 and D7. Another detail I did not understand right, in the module 4B in Basic Settings to do the restores, Should I start with the option 4th (Matrx Lights), and then restore each option starting from up to down?.

ruinalin22 : when you say "the 4B module marked in red" - I assume that you mean the color of the circle on the upper right-side of the module. If I'm correct - here's what the colored circles mean in OBD11 speak:
- GREEN = correctly registered module with no errors reported in module
- RED = correctly registered module with errors (DTCs) reported in module
- BLACK = Module physically installed on CAN network, but NOT registered in Gateway list
- YELLOW = Module registered in Gateway list, but NOT physically installed on CAN network
So, unless the circle for the 4B module is either Back, or Yellow, it's correctly registered in the Gateway installation list - and in your case, the red color simply means that there are error messages in this module that require your further attention!

In the list (19) Gateway where are D6 and D7 modules, Should I select with an X on the left and then give an Ok?, or in the Autocode Gateway List already does this?.

YES
Just check on the list (Touch wit your finger the empty square in D6 and D7) you will see a green check mark. This mark means you have Already added to the Gateway those Modules. After that press ok, and you will see next window asking if you want Gateway autocode. Press yes, and you are done. Go to next step to clear codes, and make Basic Settings in Module 4B After that check faults again to be shure all is fine, if not clear faults again. Normally all should be fine after that.
Check what dv52 (Australia) explain about recogizing the marked colors in your modules screen, it will help you to understand how OBDeleven works.
And about your question about your car, model. Your car was made in 2018, and Sold in 2019, in Portugal right? Thats means, you can use Apps for 2018, not for 2019. But Remember you need the right devises, that make the App do the coding. If you do not have it, the App do not will work.
Example for Pedestrian Brake, you need Brake Boost installed. Otherwise it do not will works. Is the Electric Brake Boost what makes the job.

The four basic encodings in module 4B have a certain order to do, or can I do them from top to bottom?.

I was able to fix the errors in module 4B, and also the D6 and D7 modules are now green. Only now appeared two errors in module 19 Gateway: Fault Code U112600. And when I use the DVD and i pause, no more play on the screen, the play icon gets dark and I have to open volume that has returned to zero, by the volume it of play again.

I must check Node_0x97 and Node_0x98 are not coded.
Plus check your 5f Navi, coding.
But is good your lights are ok, now.
Anyway, for now make the back up and please attach it here.

Yu did not made a BackUp, you send a Scan Data, Please read carfully below and follow the instructions in how to make a backup of your car data.
It do not helps becouse I can not see where is the problem, And before create the backup Please go to your settings and change languaje to English, Sorry but is complicated to me read Portuges, and as you can see the letter ennie is another simbol. You can change back to portugues after the back up is done.
To make a backup, for that in first screen after your BT is connected, on first screen where you see your car, scroll down and press Full backup. When is finished send it to your self by e-mail. And then Attach here the *.txt file, I must see what can I do.
If you can not find how, I will try to send a Screen Shoot.
