Hello, I tried different google searches with no results.
I'm wondering if there is a way using obdeleven to show carplay on innovision in full screen instead of the small window that shows up.

I have spoken to wanset about this, and he wants to charge a few hundred dollars for both hardware and software to get this hack done.

correct seems its done through telnet and some sort of crack that is loaded to change screen resolution for carplay

Its coding or adaption its a physical change the resolution for carplay, has to be done via telnet

I used this company (based in NZ) to get apple carplay in full screen on my 2022 Touareg. www.innovativesoftnz.com/product-page/vw-touareg-full-screen-carplayNot cheap @ USD 450 but it does require a lot of work in order to get it working and the guy behind this (Raymond) had a lot of good reviews. This is what you will need: - a laptop with Ethernet (RJ45) port and SD card reader (or external card reader) - ethernet to USB 2.0 adaptor, must have AX88772 chipset or it won't work (eg UGREEN model) - ethernet cable - SD card (must be formatted to FAT32) - internet access Once i had the above, i made a booking with Raymond through whatever. He remotely logged into my pc using teamviewer, copied all the files to the SD card. He then asked me to go to car and plug in SD card into car and connect laptop to car's USB 2.0 port using UGREEN adaptor & ethernet cable. He took me through the steps with screenshots (via whatever) which involved updating car's software through the Engineering menu (SD card) and then he sent telnet commands via Teamviewer. It took him a while (around 1 hr) but he got there in the end. Some screenshots...the difference is massive!!!    |
