Hi. I have a UK Passat GT Estate and have relocated to France. Have changed the halogen headlights for LHD ones.
The rear units are LED
I want to activate the rear left foglight either with the right hand fog or on it's own. Is this possible with OBD11 or can I swap the feed wire?
I know the fog is there as I swapped the units over and it lights up.
Thanks in advance for any help

I recomend you to be more specific. Car Model year etc.
And place a lights back up configuration 09 Central electrics from light 0 to the last 34 I think. You can attach a txt file here, this way If someone can help will tell you what to do, on what light. Normally Leuchte26NSL LA72 ( left) and Leuchte27NSL RC6 (right) have the information for rear fog lights.

Hi chewa I recently had to do the same thing (for the same reason) on a 2018 R-Line Estate which I think is a very similar spec to your GT. Unfortunately I had to buy a new rear left inner LED light unit for a LHD vehicle and modify the connector on the wiring harness to match, as my existing left unit did not have an LED for the fog light. Sounds like you might be luckier. I then ran a feed wire from the right hand fog light to the new left hand fog light, and re-coded "Leuchte28RFL LC11" and "Leuchte29RFL RA64" to swap over the settings for "Lichtfunktion C" and "Dimming Direction CD" so that the left reversing light is disabled when the fog lights are on instead of the right reversing light. I did initially try having both fog lights wired in, which worked until I put the vehicle in reverse and then I would get an error message on the display and the left lights would not illuminate. I concluded that the individual LED units cannot cope with having both the fog and reversing light switched on at the same time. Attached are the notes I made at the time in case they are any use to you. notes.pdf (418.01 KB) Bon chance. John
