Hi there, I have activated "Lane assist" by the method described below. After that the function works fine – car is really trying to keep itself in the lane, there is an icon on dashboard, appropriate item in menu, wheel is vibrating. BUT! There is a button on lower touch screen (as shown on attached photo). Tricky thing is that the button appears for a split second when MMI starts and then disappears. It looks like I am missing one item somewhere in Adaptation/Coding. Maybe somebody knows what to do? Unit A5 → Coding > ALDW_lane_assist - Installed
Unit 5F (мультимедия) → Adaptation > Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2 >> LDW_HCA_0x19: activated >> LDW_HCA_0x19_msg_bus: Terminal 15 > Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2 >> menu_display_Lane_Departure_Warning: activated; >> menu_display_Lane_Departure_Warning_over_threshold_high: activated;
Unit 44 → Coding > Heading Control Assistant: active
Unit 09 → Coding >> Heading Control config → heading_control
Unit 17 → Coding > Lane_assist: yes
Unit A5 → Adaptation > Lane_departure_warning_on_state → Selection_over_menu_default_on > Personalisation_for_lane_departure_warning: last_setting Attachments:

Ok, I solved this problem. Button has appeared on lower touch screen, the function works fine, its state is controlled by the button. Full guide to unlock "Lane departure Assist" is attached.

Do you have ACC installed?
I checked your codings to my etron 2019, which has lane departure warning but not ACC and not lane asssist. I can activate lane departure warning via button on stalk on the left side of the steering wheel.
All codings are the same except:
ALDW_handling: Car menue (says button or something like that)
Heading Control config: heading_control (set to no heading control)
Lane_departure_warning_on_state: Selection_over_menu_default_off (default_on)
FAS_PM_Status Active Lane Daparture Warning after Kl.15 on: Fkt_Status_Bus (_Status_Last)
Personalisation_for_lane_departure_warning: last_setting (activated)
I wonder if changing those 5 in my etron could unlock lane assist without ACC installed.

On my S6, the lane assist button is on the steering column stalk for turn signals.

No, I don't have ACC. What does lane assist in your car look like? Does it hold car in the middle of the lane or vanders from left to right edge of the lane and corrects (like driving drunk)?

Exactly as you explained. Just a ping-pong from left to right, from right to left. In my opinion, this function helps only if you are really tired or in case you lost attention – then the car can assist you.
