Hi, i have a golf 7 gte with lane assist and it bothers me that i get lane departure warnings when i dont keep my hands on the steering wheel.

Does anybody know how to disable the lane departure warnings when it detects you dont have your hands on the steering wheel?

Danny: Hi. The hands off warning (and the subsequent actions like the bell and the brake jolt and the turn-signal switch-on and the eventual slowing-down of the car to a standstill) is part of the Emergency Assist facility.

You could always use this method to solve your problem:

I note that the hex 13 module (the front radar unit) has a software switch to turn ON/OFF Emergency Assist on Byte 4, Bit 2 but I've not played with this switch.
