As the Formentor is SFD Protected which control unit are you coding Update just seen your post on seatcupra.net so it's Control unit 69 if you go to live data and do a search for SFD what does that bring back.
Further when coding are you opening the bonnet otherwise it wont work

Thanks for getting back to me, I've done a live data search for SFD but it doesn't do anything it just returns you back a page. Also under the long coding there's no description/ option to activate. Or does this need to be done under the gateway module 19? If so this also requests a code I've tried the generic 20103 and I get a 7f error

As this is a new model and new security by VAG the following is my guess work and could be wrong. If there is nothing mentioned in live data for SFD (on that control unit) Then (and this is all guess work so far) control unit 69 is not SFD Protected which is good news. With regards to long coding descriptions, I think the only ones on your car are the ones I added a while ago but fundamentally these are just the ones you see in the option 0 in Android or Manufacturers screen under IOS. Control unit 19 as far as I am aware is protected by SFD so you cant code this with OBD11 till they impliment the new interface to VAG. I would also point to this thread forums.ross-tech.com/index.php?threads/22068/page-6#post-230239 where users have had issues trying to do towbar coding. I am afraid with regards to security access codes 20103 does work but others at this stage are unknown but you can use the OBD11 Search facility to find others provided that the control unit recognises 20103 as a valid code. Be warned this process does take a long time so make sure you battery is good and or engine is running. Final point (as lots of poeple miss this) coding only works if you have the bonnet open. Sorry I cant help more
Final point might be worth raising this on seatcupra.net as somebody on there might found a way to do this

ok, now it works. First you have to unlock with 20103, then you can use long coding. Yesterday I forget this.

Hi there I recently mounted a tow bar on my Enyaq. Now I wanted to code it with ODBEleven. However I'm a bit confused how to proceed. The tow bar unit is built by Erich Jaeger. Meanwhile I got from the Jaeger support an updated unit with firmware 2.26. The parcel has been sent from Jaeger Czech Republic. Thus I think Jaeger should be a certified OEM of Skoda. Unfortunately I received a coding list dealing with VCDS. I tried to activate unit 69 but couldn't find where to set it "coded". Would be very grateful if I could get the OBDEleven codes for the concerned units. Thanks a lot in advance.
